On the eve of the 1966 World Cup Final, a black and white Border Collie named Pickles accidentally discovered the stolen World Cup trophy in London. The trophy had been stolen months before the start of the World Cup during a public exhibition. Pickles' discovery saved that year's World Cup and made him a national hero.
